**Pilot: A Family Portrait - Cuba**

We meet Malpaso Dance Company, Havana’s independent contemporary dance collective that broke free of state support in 2012. They survive because of the family they have become, offering sanctuary to each other from the hardships and “malpaso,” or missteps, in life.
