Hardest Harvest (Long Format Corporate Rebrand)
Client: Nature Fresh Farms, Leamington Ontario
Pixel Palette was approached by our friends at By The Booth (Garrus Booth) to help Nature Fresh Farms rebrand its public narrative at a moment of profound crisis.
On June 30, 2020, COVID‑19 protocols forced one of Ontario’s largest greenhouse operations to close. Crops were lost. Hundreds of migrant workers were relocated. Public scrutiny intensified. What was missing was context.
Nature Fresh didn’t need a defence — they needed their full story told.
The Hardest Harvest reframed the crisis through the voices of migrant workers, farm leaders, and industry partners. Workers spoke about sacrifice, family, and dignity. Leadership spoke candidly about halted production, food waste, and the fragile balance between public health mandates and national food supply.
Rather than centre the corporation, we centred people.
The film repositioned Nature Fresh not only as an agricultural leader, but as a human institution — navigating responsibility, regulation, and social obligation while protecting both crops and communities.
The Hardest Harvest restored more than reputation.
It restored perspective.
